An Evening Trip to Discover the Pialassa Baiona, “the Valley” of Marina Romea. Alongside Gianpaolo, we will venture into the Po Delta Park for a captivating boat excursion amidst the local flora and fauna – flamingos and swans. While enjoying a small aperitif, we will relish the incredible colors of the sunset in absolute tranquility.

The excursion is available every day upon reservation, with a minimum of 3 participants.

Location:

La Pialassa (Po Delta Park) Marina Romea “Pialassa” derives from the Venetian term Piglia e lascia, which is related to tidal movements. The Pialassa Piomboni, in general, has shallow waters and is subject to changing salinity and temperature throughout the day and seasons. These two parameters heavily influence the life of the plants and animals that inhabit it.

However, these areas create conditions of exceptional tropism, and the organisms that manage to adapt develop in substantial populations. Wetland areas have always represented a challenging environment, even for humans, who fought against them through reclamation efforts, almost leading to their disappearance. Instead, today, the few remaining wetlands exert a strong attraction, likely due to the richness of the waters and the splendid and flourishing birdlife.

The locals now navigate the waters of the Pialassa using special flat-bottomed boats called Battane. They colonize the shores with huts built on stilts equipped with the distinctive Padelloni, large fishing nets that are hoisted from the water, capturing the abundant lagoon fish fauna

VALIDITY

The voucher is valid only for the scheduled event dates. In case you change your mind, it’s possible to modify your choice and convert the purchase into another activity by emailing: info@riviera-experience.it with the subject “Convert Voucher”. Conversions must be carried out within the 60-day period following the date of purchase.
