Ravenna is famous for its Byzantine mosaics, a UNESCO World Heritage site. However, it also hides many treasures that deserve to be admired. In the outskirts you can appreciate the Mausoleum of Theodoric, surrounded by a green park that can be explored on foot, while the little village of Classe hosts three equally fascinating sites: the Byzantine Basilica, the Classis Museum, and its ancient port.
